Every saturday morning workers roll the large garbage bin down the driveway at our apartment and dump it into the garbage truck. Usually it's an annoyance, because they come early, but today i decided to record it. I think they thought i was recording them to complain or something, but i told them it was just for my sound effects collection. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.

This is a long recording taken in the backyard of my neighborhood on july 4, 2021. There are lots of distant (and a few closer) booms and explosion sounds. Kind of sounds like a war going on! in this longer recording a plane also flies overhead, and someone drives down the street.

A compilation made from a longer recording taken in my backyard on the 4th of july 2021. There are lots of pops and booms of neighborhood fireworks. I strung together what sounded like the best and got rid of longer periods of inactivity or other distracting noises. Enjoy!.

For my 100th sound on freesound, a long one: me building my bed with wooden strips. Noises of screws, metal squares, screwdriver, moving the wood and assembling it. And sometimes my breath. Sporadic clanging and banging sounds throughout and occasional muffled voices (with cockney accents). Good ambient sound for builders working in a cathedral, empty art gallery or some other large, open space.

July 4th fireworks going off all across town, echoing off the buildings. Sounded like the world was ending, figured i'd get a sound bite.
